About Us
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, I have been a lifelong resident of New Jersey. If that doesn't make a lot of sense, that's because I was brought to NJ at the age of 2 months, and have been here ever since. To make a long story short, through high school, college(which didn't work for me), and broadcasting school(2003 graduate), there has been a lot of transformation in my life, and somehow, God has brought me through it all. That includes my 11 years at Stop & Shop supermarkets, and another 4 years at Beckman-Coulter, Inc., and the past 4 years at WGHT Radio(Pompton Lakes, NJ). It's been a long journey, with a long way to go. Hopefully, with my wife Dahlia alongside, I will get there. King James Travel - Mission Statement
Under the ownership of yours truly, Korbid Thompson, King James Travel was established on March 29, 2008, My son, James, serves as Vice President at the young age of 3. As a part of the YTB Travel Network, King James Travel looks to provide the best service, both locally, and abroad.
I have formed affliates and partnerships with some of the best sports travel companies on the Web to deliver the gameday packages that matter the most to the everyday person, and the hotshot corporate exec.
Our mission:
1) To build the #1 team of sports travel professionals in YTB Travel Network, and then - the world.
2) To make King James Travel into a reliable sports travel online company, which doesn't come without its growing pains.
3) To elevate at least one individual(who has yet to surface) to the status of Director within the YTB Travel Network, and all that comes with it. The individual I'm looking for will be able to change the world around him/her, by showing hundreds(and perhaps thousands) of people the advantages of home business ownership, and beng able to travel more, while paying less, not to mention the part-time income that people are desparately looking for in these financial times.
All acheivements of the past and present will only glorify God, and the great things he is able to do. I have certainly learned a great deal in my first year, and every day continues to be a growth for both myself, and the business.

Then, there's the bottom left, where I was in Illinois back in May on some business, followed by my first trip to Washington, D.C., as I checked out Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals.
